There was no social media, rappers were worshipped and perceived as always angry gangsters that would murk you for even blinking...then Xzibit came on that show, he was friendly, jokes and always laughing :yeshrug:

Add to that pimped out cars were affordable to "millionaire" rappers then to see Xzibit (not MTV :ufdup: ) reward good people by pimping their cars was :ahh:

It was simple entertainment with the ridicilous add-ons to the cars.
They had a one-off German show called 'Pimpt mein Farrad' aka Pimp my Bike too:lolbron:

My main complaint with the seires, is that they mostly just made the cars look nice, but did nothing for the reliability or performance. The weren't doing restorations.
At the end of the day the client is still leaving with a old civic thats gonna break down every week.
