Nah, owners HATE being embarrassed.
It was embarassment that got the refs deal done. The media and public was making a mockery of the league after two embarrassing national games and the real refs were back in two days.
Owners are a prideful bunch. Obviously a few fans in paper bags isn't the same magnitude, but it's the other fans that laugh it off...owners take it more seriously.

It is what it is, and to the fans it's much more than a product.
Like I said, it's easy for the person who has no commitment to the team to say that, but people been rooting for these teams their whole lives, to them it can't be compared to a product like Domino's, Doritos or Pepsi
I don't think the bags make a huge impact, but dude selling his seats makes less of an impact.
They already got his money for the original ticket, now they`ll get more money from the guy who buys them and pays for parking food etc...
