...u cacs are hilarious...EM didnt battle any real mcees, because there was literally no reason to do so. Whoever your favorite rappers were, were probably his favorite rappers. Em has made it known he is/was a fan of the genre. he wasnt just on some i'm better than you type of vibe. that was never really his thing. he had a chip on his shoulder because he could rap well but had to prove himself two times over because he was a white guy rapping. but once that was proven he became the great white hope and sold like crazy.
and the other reality is this. because he knows and understands he lives in america as a white guy who is selling like crazy even without the promo and a bunch of radio friendly songs. he knows it would've been a disaster to battle any real mcees that people liked which were most likely black. what was he going to say? if he used the same or similar lines as other mcees that battle. at some point someone would bring up record sales. and he would talk about how he sold more than all of their favorite rappers combined, which is true. and that rapper would respond the only reason that happened was cause he's white, which would've been a huge part of the reason why. and it would turn into a race thing. that would be a lose lose for him.
