Stupid asses should at least be using the names on merch if they’re not gonna use WCW PPV names.

They do for some of them:

For a long time they had shirts and hoodies for Halloween Havoc, Uncensored, Sin, and I think Spring Stampede. Currently only a HH hoodie is all I can find on WWE shop. Might have something to do with with these trademarks.

He should actually use those instead of the shytty PPV names we got now imagine:

January - Royal Rumble
February - Souled Out
March - Spring Stampede
April - WrestleMania
May - Backlash
June - Money In The Bank
July - Heatwave
August - SummerSlam
September - Living Dangerously
October - Uncensored
November - Survivor Series
December - Armageddon

This makes too much sense.

Hard to get hype for a PPVs named TLC and Hell in a Cell. Plus it handicaps the booking because you can't book those matches any other time.

Back in the day you could have a TLC match at WrestleMania, an Elimination Chamber match at SummerSlam, and a Hell in a Cell match at Survivor Series, it made PPVs a little more unpredictable.

I was too young to realize this when they introduced gimmick PPVs, but that was one of the first major mistakes the company made that eventually brought them to where they are now. It makes no sense to only have Hell in a Cell matches in October, TLC matches in December, etc. That's not what those matches were built for.

That's why when Triple H and Undertaker had their match at WrestleMania XXVIII, it meant something that it was inside Hell in a Cell. It was the end of a long feud that had lasted since 2009, it (at the time) marked the end of an entire era of wrestling, and it was the only match they could do that was big enough. Nowadays, wrestlers feud for a month, and the next thing you know, they're in Hell in a Cell for no reason other than it's October. :hhh:
