He's probably better off in NO. He'll get a lot more easy assists playing with Zion and BI. I don't even know what teams would be interested in him right now. There are teams out there who need a point guard of the future (Knicks, Suns, Spurs) but those teams can just get a guard in the draft or sign someone better with cap space later

look at his #s without Jrue this season, he was a top 10 PG when Jrue didn't play. Their playing styles don't mesh. Ppl make sweeping generalizations but Lonzo was feasting with Zion and no Jrue.

Before the pandemic, he had an excellent stretch. He was definitely top 10 caliber when Jrue wasn't playing. He played like sh*t in the bubble tho. Between the defense, facilitating, improved 3 pt shooting, and youth...still a canvas that can be filled out nicely

Zo averaged 12/6/7 he’s one of the best guard defenders in the game and he shot 38% from 3 on over 6 attempts (good catch and shoot guy). He’s a very flawed player and has underperformed the expectations and hype but he’s still only 22 he isn’t trash.

Zo was mad at how he ended his season in the bubble and was on Twitter talking about he’s coming out different next year. Seems like bro is going to work his ass off this offseason.

Besides he’ll have a healthy in shape Zion and Mike D’Antoni will likely be hired.

Nah if Lamar was humble, BBB would've never gotten off the ground at all in the first place. Nike would've just bullied him out early.

this. Lavar simply couldn’t do it all by himself. And the soldiers he had in the background just weren’t as strong as him. Didn’t help that Alan was a snake and Tina (the other brains of the operation) had a stroke.

I had/have no problem with Lavar being the ringmaster so people take interest. Regardless of how popular Melo or Zo is, they don’t have a fraction of the energy and personality as their dad. But their hooping should speak for itself. Zo not living up to the hype was a major thorn in things not going as planned. And even if he balled out, nothing was stopping him getting shipped to NO as trade bait.

but the brand made some very avoidable missteps. They needed better designs, a better website and better social media out of the gate. Those 3 things alone would’ve been a massive improvement. Lavar (or his minions) didn’t do a good job (at all) of polishing up the things we see.

Maybe it would’ve been different if Tina didn’t get sick, who knows. I think she gets overlooked even tho she was the one designing shyt in the beginning and doing a lot behind the scenes.
