Cuz they wanted him to rest & rehab the whole offseason ,surgery was the last option he wasn’t recovering with several months of rehab

You dudes act like you started watching sports , surgery always the last option

Same goofies who wanted rose washed up ass back(who played less games than ball last season) crying about this is comedy the outrage is fake

after waiting 6 months they could have done it in july even if it came to that. why potentially risk him missing games by waiting 8 months?

“Doctors believed addressed the issue”

Can you not read? dude knee structurally sound which means it coulda been a bone spur, dead tissue, loose cartilage or something. I’m pretty sure his agent wouldn’t of told shams there’s confidence in his return this season if they didn’t think the issue was resolved
probably scar tissue

He's about to have the same procedure

Blazers orthopedist Dr. Don Roberts will perform the procedure, technically called knee debridement, next week in Vancouver. Recovery from such a procedure can take anywhere from three-to-six weeks, but Blazers general manager Rich Cho said the team is not setting a timetable for his return besides a generic hope.

The situation between the Chicago Bulls and Lonzo Ball just got a whole lot more concerning. According to Jamal Collier of ESPN, the 2017 second-overall pick will undergo arthroscopic debridement on his left knee, the same knee he had surgery on earlier this year.

I had this surgery when I was 17.

I know the Bulls are saying he can be back this season, but I just find it hard to believe. I hope he can be back at least towards the spring to get the rust off for 23-24 season.

As opposed to saying what? "Lonzo knee is pretty fukked up and he probably won't play 200 more games in his nba career because of it but he going to colllect 60 million over the next 3 years so we straight. Any team that wants to trade for him you need to do it now cause by 2024 his knees going to be dust."

That karma..

BE A Goofy who thinks Lonzo Ball.. Has done what D rose did for this organization..

BE EVEN MO of a Goofy and compare the amount of games D rose played in his 14th szn as a player, to Zo who is playin 30.games in his 5th szn..

This team Needs Zo.. 200% and need him healthy.. The D gawd slander is unnescarry and beneath you, to compare them both when Zo's career and knees are hangin on by a thread ...

This team Needs to have played it smarter/better with the mgmt and treatment, rekovery of his Knee is all anyone is sayin

Realistically he probably shouldn't make a come back until the new year
