even as a youngin (19 at the time) i pretty much thought i had my certified top 10 and then i heard the double disc Underground Kingz album.

Pimps performance on that album blew me away..i loved it, went back and listened more intently their discography that i listened to but never really sat with because i was listening to so much stuff at the time and over time Pimp has became one of my favorite rappers ever.

this was nice little doc.
got the book but haven't got around to it yet.
Pimp killed Underground Kingz front and back, it was obvious he had a lot to say after being in the pen

The sad thing about Pimp is that he never had a true solo album in his eyes at the time of his passing ... he always considered Pimpalation to be a compilation album (hence the name) and the Sweet James Jones Stories was put together while he was away ...

Also, David Banner's verse on True To The Game is pretty sad in regards to Pimp dying :to:

Yes, I shed a tear when "one day" started after that dude said that the whole city was crying.
Pimp was one of my favorite characters in rap world and he managed to acquire such reputation on my personal list as fast as only a very few others!
