hmm i dunno what the area was but my friend stays in the vicity of Liverpool Street station.
I have left over GBP will i get more bang for my buck if i get my dollars in Dublin or shld i wait till i get back to the states to exchange it?

I take the train to Liverpool St station all the time. I don't know of any residential places there so your friend probably just lives nearby.
