That’s me with the orange shirt on the left turnbuckle in the Rigo vid. Trying to squeeze photos in between all the media people.
As soon as Rigo stepped in, the entire gym went silent. Dude got ambushed with mics, cameras, and questions. Someone asked him about the weight difference. He said something along the lines of “I’m going to weigh both more & less than what ppl think on fight night."
One thing is for certain...Rigo is MUCH more built than Loma. Dude is JACKED. Looks like he does weights all day. No joke. I wouldn't be surprised if he weighs more than Loma. Loma has more of a runner/swimmer body. Super thin. Not sure how that'll affect the match up. I hope Rigo still can do a solid 12 rounds. Loma's endurance is probably peaking at the moment.
Another thing I noticed...
Rigo went from shadow boxing, to running, to heavy-bag work, back in the ring for mean mitt-work, then core workout drills, then ball-catching, rolling, more shadow boxing, etc. Rigo's EXPLOSIVE brehs.
Loma on the other hand...had a real LIGHT media workout. Nothing explosive. Looked very dull. It made me think...could Loma be conserving energy? Could he be feeling a little drained? I know he can move down in weight...but maybe it ain't as easy for him anymore. Rigo on the other hand moved up...he probably filled with energy and food right now lol.
It's known that Loma & his team decided to deliberately not show any training videos this time around. Maybe he really doesn't want to show anything off?
