Loma is a Euro, most Euro's fold once things actually get rough and physical and they can't just stay at range and try to potshot you.

Is this the end of the Ukrainian Dream Team? Gvozdyk quit and now is a family man, now Loma got roughed up taking his L, is Usyk next????

Damn, I didn't get the KO I wanted, but Loma getting outboxed and outfought and outpunched is enough for me. Lopez gave him a complete ass kicking. :ohlawd:

Had it 116-112, but can definitely see 117-111 too. Fight was competitive, but not really close. I only gave Loma 1 round outta the first 5. Lopez power made him too timid. He didn't wanna take any chances and fought behind him the whole bout. Scoring it 115-113 Lopez is basically giving Loma every benefit of the doubt and the fight definitely wasn't a draw. Right guy won and clearly.

Loma footwork stanleys gotta be :mjcry: but but his boxing skill. He gonna take Teo to school :mjlol:

Usyk earned his hype bruh and this is from someone who was not a believer in him

I respect the accomplishment because I respect the sport, but Jermell might go undisputed at 154 which is a much better division than Cruiserweight and you still got folks arguing he shouldn't get P4P consideration(yes I know not you, but there are a lot of people). These white boys get held to completely different standards and i'm tired of it Pat.

Loma was called the best since Floyd Mayweather, the greatest of all time yet his resume was full of undersized over the hill fighters and a loss to Orlando Salido(:mjlol:). Loma can box, but just based off the eye test that everyone loves so much Caleb Plant has far more boxing ability than Lomachenko ever displayed, if there is a white boy who should be getting hyped it is him yet you don't hear anything about him and I strongly wonder if his black wife and the fact the grew up in the hood has anything to do with it because I'm sure it does.

What fight ward was watching. Lopez won the first 6-7 rounds lol

I think it'd be interesting how ppl would score it without the espn telecast in their ear driving a narrative.

For example, I thought Teo was winning the 2nd round but with the way Tim, Andre and cac gassed up how Loma finished that round, i was like... well shyt, maybe i'm trippin:ld:

And later, as someone mentioned, at times it felt like they were giving Loma rounds for simply showing activity.

154 Is a better than CW now..no question but Usyk did come up in a tough CW era..def wasnt no bullshyt about that...I'm not a believer in Plant and wasnt a fan of Lomachenko but Lomachenko has actually proved me wrong on some occasion..Plant's best win is Uzcategui and that shyt was mid to me. Hes at 168 and is fighting a never was like Lee or his German IBF mandatory..no wins like a Gary Russ or Linares win on his resume. Hell he is not even like his fellow white American brethren Joe Smith Jr. who deserves more hype than Plant.

Regarding Plant like I said. America likes its white fighters white white lol. All American type lol. He is definitely not getting marketed as such.

Bro cruiserweight is the same crop of fighters now that Usyk beat, that division still aint good. Joe Smith Jr aint getting hyped because he isn't that good bro don't know what to tell you about that one.

first of all, i do respect teo and his team. i am not discounting them. they showed up to win and did what it took

but there is a difference between a 396 win, 2x gold medalist fighting some amateurs and then a 30 something fighting pro champions at a weight were many of the best have frames that allow them to just pass through

and i dont discount teo's speed and strength either, just that taking on world class pros at 135 with that frame is another disadvantage. he must focus on getting in and out safely the whole fight and the margin for error is slimmer.

Bro, you're posting like Loma was in his teens or very early 20's when he left the Ammy's at a higher weight. He was grown man & in his prime at 25 his pro debut that melted down to fight at the lower weights (there's nothing wrong with that either).

I don't know if you're intentionally coming off that way but it's like a backhanded compliment toward Lopez in both your posts but I could be misinterpreting

To me & many others it all came down to game plan & execution & Lopez was not only the better fighter but he was better prepared. It's painfully obvious Loma & his team underestimated Lopez's IQ, composure, but more importantly his speed & explosiveness. Not just punching power but Teo's ability to close the gap in an instant & get his shots off. He turned Loma into Danny Swift Garcia & kept his hands in his pockets for most of the night lol
