easier to have a high boxing IQ when you arent worried about your physical safety. loma is at a weight that is a real challenge for him. props to him for campaigning at that weight but he was clearly too afraid to engage until the reality set in that he was losing, and then he stepped on the gas but all his aggression looked less "virtuoso" as these announcers like to say.

if lopez had better conditioning or if loma got aggressive earlier, loma would have been stopped.

i will give loma more credit: he never said "no mas" like some of his opponents would do out there. instead, he sucked it up and started going for it eventually.

Nah bro. Loma fought at this weight (or higher) as an amateur.

Loma looked ordinary because Teo could match his hand & foot speed & not to mention the feints. He cut the ring off well & when Loma turned he turned with him so he couldn't fight at those awkward angles like he usually does. Respect to Teo & his team for having a great plan, going to the body & having the IQ & patience to execute it

Haney has fought no one and we are going to act like Lopez is ducking Haney. Lopez actually fights legit fighters, Ryan Garcia has a better win and is actually going to fight someone legit. Haney best win is going to be Gamboa. :russ:
:mjlol: we blaming fighters when dudes side step them:hhh:. Both Lopez and loma ducked him fukk you talking about. One asked for franchise the other took their name out of the wbc contention in order NOT to fight him. It'll be one thing if Haney has been ducking dudes he's been trying to fight teofimo Garcia and loma. shyt he wants to fight tank

MIA to ATL
I wish they would stop lying about Undisputed ... they don’t have the WBC belt

Bob Arum turned down having Teo in the WBC eliminator tourney with Devin and said they weren’t going the WBC route. They then petitioned Loma to get the franchise belt to avoid Dev. They avoided him bruh it’s not up for debate. Has Haney beat anyone of even Commey’s level? No but just like folks were picking Lopez off the eye test , many will do the same for Haney. The reason they were avoiding him is because he’s a challenge. Top Rank matchmakers rarely miss, they know what you don’t know about the fighters.

Lopez suprised me, he showed a little boxing ability tonight. That Nakatani fight was struggle shyt. I thought Loma would be able to box circles around Lopez because he isn't active but Lopez power bothered Loma and he never really opened up, even when he did in the later round he threw the safest punches and combinations he could get off, which is probably why the judges scored it wide they be picking up on that shyt.

I like loma but they trying to get that man hurt:hubie:
They don't know how to react to this loss. I've never seen a scorecard talked about so much when a guy CLEARLY lost :laff:

"Yea Lopez won...but WHAT ABOUT THOSE SCORECARDS. :damn:". Did the right man win or not :mjlol:

Lomas too small for 135, while he did have the apparent skill advantage you can tell he was never comfortable with the ring cuts and couldn't figure out how to get close without getting hooked. He's also too slow to have such a reach disadvantage, if he wasn't built badly i think he takes that one. Hats off to Lopez for getting in the ring with the supposed boogie man
