A new QB as well as a new system and having SOME players with talent on the squad.

And if anything, I love the Dolphins interior offensive line. They're stout up front, and Jake Long is still the best LT in football. Your team has discernible talent at certain positions. And your QB ISN'T SCARED!!! The Jets offense doesn't.

I know its early in the season, and his career. But do you know how happy I am that the Phins look like they FINALLY have a franchise QB??

I was watching the game yesterday and he was trapped in the pocket, ran out and made a perfect throw on the run down field for about 20 yards
I just looked at my homie and was like

The first thing I look for in a QB is if he's scared. Tannenhill doesn't give a fukk about the chaos around him. He simply doesn't give a fukk.

EVERYTHING else after that is easy to teach.

It's true, and he doesn't look as reckless like Big Ben in the pocket either.

I honestly want the Jets and Phins to be back fighting for the division again.
As successful as the Pats have been and all, I still don't have that same hatred I have with them as I do with the Jets.
That rivalry just ain't the same

For real. A lot of Jets fans I know feel the same way. We just recently started hating the Pats....but the Fish/Jets rivalry is genuinely real disdain...and much older.

I mean....I really hate the Fish. We just have to get back on top again to really live it out like we used to.

Back to Tannehill. I think playing receiver at Texas A&M helps him in the department of not giving a damn. It's sort of like AI when he played basketball and people said he wasn't afraid of mixing it up with big guys. At some point, when you're used to it already, it's no big deal.

yea his play at receiver really helped. It showed him that he will still live if he gets hit lol
alot of these qb's are too afraid to take a hit. Now I don't want to see him get reckless and take a bunch of hits but hes not afraid to stand in if that means taking a hit or run.
and that is important to being successful in the NFL.

his arm is :gladbron: as well

But just so dudes know. He was brought to Texas A&M as a QB, played QB in high school(he also played DB, and was always going to be a qb. Just that he was lower on the depth chart so he played WR
then when dude went he stepped in to play QB.

Too many ppl think dude was a receiver turned QB.

He is just an all around great athlete (breaking records as a receiver as a freshmen)

I remember a sick ass catch he made in traffic while at Texas A&M. Up in the air, his back facing the ground and still caught it while getting knocked out of the game.

He's simply a great athlete.
