The opening scene in GF2 (not the young Vito flashback the party at Mike's house) is so engrossing that by the time it's finished you don't even realize 40 minutes have passed!

Right. That joint is damn near 4 hours and it's good but that's the exact opposite of the long movies we are talking about. Once Upon A Time feels every bit of 3 hrs
