People make the narrative fit their argument. Nobody cared about Floyd beating Shane and not taking his belt, but since Pac name is attached, they act like Floyd not caring about a belt is some Earth shattering news.

Like I said before, Manny fukked up the first negotiations. It was on him and his team. Tge Second negotiations with the 40 mill flat was kinda stupid, especially considering Manny was willing to do a 60/40 split across the board. Floyd turned that down, and the fight wasnt made then. The fight wouldvebeen the highest grossing fight ever, talks of being a 200 million fight. Pacquiao was supposedto take 40 and leave the other 160 for Floyd?
It was a bullshyt offer. At 60/40 Floyd woulda got 120 and Pac 80.

As of today, in the present, we know Floyd is saying that he will NEVER do business with Bob Arum. With Manny being a Arum fighter, Floyd is basically saying he will never fight him while he's with Top Rank. Mannys contract ain't up until 2015, when he's damn near 37 and Floyd already 38
Besides that, he's giving other excuses over the past week, "what's his PPV numbers", "he's 1-2 in his last 2 fights", "he can have the belt", "why should I have to eat JMM leftovers".....just all bullshyt.
