Green Hat and bald dude in the back or something like this dress down. All the guys in IG's is what you expect an early 20s to dress like. The other guys in the pic you posted are of course over dress and doing too much.

the funny thing is, they way we imagine grown folks dressing is literally how they were dressing as kids back in the day too. they never changed their style and so over time it became associated with being grown as they continued wearing them as grownups. just a natural cycle

if every previous generation acted the same way we do, they would've tossed the suits in the trash as soon as they hit 30 and started dressing like their parents.
Every old head 50 and up would still be looking like this.

There really isn't any precedent for suddenly hating every fashion trend that was popular with your generation after you hit a certain age.

it's actually more weird to suddenly go from jeans and sneakers in your 20s to suddenly wearing peacoats and penny loafers in your 40s and 50s. that stuff didn't use to happen.

I’m pro-people doing wtf they want. AI don’t have to follow the rules of “professionalism”… which is basically just respectability politics. Policing Black folks self expression will always be corny… especially if it isn’t harming anyone and it’s not risqué.

Because, somewhere around the 60's, clothes specifically created for teens were created. A distinction of age in clothing appeared, for commercial reasons, but it appeared.

Some of you have such a ridiculous concept of age and what you’re supposed to be like and how you’re supposed to act.

The majority of the things you attribute to aging is bound by career, washedness, societal acceptance, etc. None of that shyt applies to celebs my guy. He look like he can wear wtf he want bc he CAN wear wtf he want.

Ok I’m stealing that :russ:

Yep, this whole debate is just the result of a clever fashion marketing campaign, trying to sell clothes. So they created arbitrary clothing demographics.
If you have stopped growing, there is really no (non arbitrary) reason for your fashion tastes to change after that point.
