First album was dope so will def check this. Yeah he's influenced by Kendrick, Drake and Cole but the music's still good. Hopefully he puts his own stamp on it a bit more this time.

Nah not to me man. I felt like Cole had some heat on a few cuts but the singing was just horrible.
Cole isn't a singer breh...the only good singer rapper is Gambino... In this class

I can agree with Gambino.
People like to hate on him because of him being nerdy, but he's probably one of the most creative artists out there. How many artists do we see out here making screenplays for rap albums? 
Plus, nerd rappers are dope. We need them, cause most of these rappers sound dumb as shyt. One of my favorite singer rappers would Krizz Kaliko from Strange Music. Dude consistently kills it.

To be quite honest, Gambino is overqualified.
How many rappers can say they act, sing and able to do stand-up? I think you're right, I think it's the dress code or lack of overt hood shyt. But that's a good thing, because if that's not who he is, why fabricate his image? People are so infatuated with negativity. It might be entertainment... but it says a lot about society when that's what we find pleasure in. Nobody's afraid of looking uncool or crazy to the world, nobody likes taking risks for their art. Everybody wants to be the man of the hour. But the thing about being the man of the hour is... It doesn't mean shyt if there's a dozen of you. And there's more gold to be discovered the road less traveled.

It's the fact that he attempted to sing and that shyt sounded horrible on some songs. "Hello" for example. Im 31 i can't listen to a 28 year old reminisce about his first time as a teenager. I honestly thought his project was ok. And I know Gambino is talented and all but I just can't get into his music.
