But this thread made me think about Czarface and why they got a pass. If that was just Esoteric and XL they probably wouldn't have got a pass? It's the Wu-Tang (Deck) connection that saved them. And they got DOOM himself on a track on the second album and a collab album with Metalface in 2019.

But in and on itself they also jacked the concept from DOOM?

Also losers were on comic book, cartoon shyt since the late 90's tho.
First track i ever hear from them was Be Alert (transformer samples and they drop some references in the track). I think that, along with DOOM and Deck is why it was well received PLUS it was actually good.
