I don't know if this was said in the thread already (not reading 68 pages) but here's a trick I shared on the

. If you can use your phone as a hotspot or have a dedicated device from your cell company (sucker), you can cruise the net all day with no worries from IT.
1) Copy all of your important files off of your work computer to a flash drive.
2) Take your laptop/netbook to work.
3) Hide it somewhere under your desk (mine is on top of my work tower on the floor)
4) Plug your monitor, keyboard, mouse into the lappy (or better yet, get one of those switches so you can flip back and forth with ease between your work computer and personal laptop)
5) Plug in your flash drive to the lappy.
6) Keep at least one work program open in the background so you can ALT-TAB to, and...
7) Voila. You're golden.
Only thing that screws me is if my boss needs something printed. I gotta stall him and switch back to my work comp. I'm contemplating copping a cheap printer and putting it on my desk instead of using the network printer. But now I got Visual Studio running doing my programming. Got the coli up.
