I think they the way it was planned was to both meet in the middle and from there let the best man win. But yeah it's stupid to play it that way because somebody still going to end up going one on one. I didn't watch the previews so I didn't see any of the fallout from it.
I had no clue Darrell had jokes though. I think this damn near the first time they showed him joking around and having personality.
Darnell always had a personality and was joking around with the vets. He was always popular amongst them too, when the classic challenges was very cliqued up. nikkas were bullies, and if you were not a part of the cool kids, you was food. This is why I loved Ruthie, Evelyn, and Landon. They hated that shyt, and played the game their way and won.
I love what Shane is doing, he is a vet. Shane was always a good competitor but when it came to the numbers, he was always like the sacrificial pawn. Dude is far from a underdog, and he was right. Look at all the stuff Nelson was saying throughout the entire season, and then greased Cory? Shane said from jump that this is just a game, and everybody can't be trusted. He called out Nelson before too.
