I'm positive he wanted Clips to go 2nd, but just not on his terms.

Remember, Lux kept saying "let him go."

It doesn't matter. It ended up working out for him, because his third round forced Clips to completely changed his shyt. Who knows? Maybe Clips would have did better in the third if he went 1st & not have to worry about rebuttaling the round.

I'm kind of surprised Clips' didn't see it coming though.
