he said he's going back to having fun on his next projects @Tunez

This was dope. Crazy him and cartune never even been in the stu together. Cartune fukking killed it on this album too he’s good as far as I’m concerned when I see his name attached to Banks projects going forward. LSD was such a piff beat for Banks and Vado to go off on

Where you ranking it against the first 2 and Banks catalogue as a whole?
fukk bro. His whole catalogue is crazy hard for me to rank, because so many portions are so different. I honestly think I got the albums and the early Money in the Bank tapes lower.

Within the COTI series I have this on par with 1 right now, but it could become my favorite just due to it being shorter and more personal songs. COTI 2 was dope but I rarely went back to it for whatever reasons.

I think my overall favorites are still FNO and Cold Corner 2. COTI 1 and 3 are definitely in those upper tiers, I think. I like AON, V6, and HH2 a lot too. Those would be the A and S tier joints to me.

I definitely need to listen to this one and sit with it more. He's also got so much music too. I'm spacing a little bit on what joints are on HH3 and the 5 and Better Series tapes.

EDIT: HFM and Money in the Bank 1, 2, and 4 based on nostalgia would high up there I guess. B-Tier maybe.

You?

That’s dope man I agree with most of that. I almost have to look at the early stuff, Hunger For More and the Money in the Bank stuff as an entirely different catalogue because it’s so different. I fukk with it but prefer Top 5 series-Present version better.

Also c/s your initial thoughts on this. I definitely rank it comfortably over COTI2 and honestly over the first one too just because it never runs out of steam imo. The second half of the first COTI wasn’t as good as the first imo.

And shyt right now the only thing of his I’m for sure ranking over this is FNO. Imo this might be on the same level as LIU and CC2 but I’ll have to sit with it more because those both stood the test of time with me though.

Really impressed with this one though. Really shows Banks growth as an artist and the album is fukking ultra cohesive which I would think is harder to do without someone executive producing the way Nas has hit boy and shyt like that…here Banks is just shouldering the entire vision and he nailed it imo.
