So listening through there is more introspective shyt then I initially thought but still not as much as COTI. You really gotta pay attention to Banks man his shyt is so lyrically dense. On the surface level the flow and schemes are all dope but he really just be saying some real shyt when you break it down. He’s not on the lyrical miracle babble shyt the way some others get on it saying anything just to rhyme.

Cartune Beatz is officially cool by me. That You Shouldn’t Be Here joint is fukking dope.

He's gotten better with words, we can't call him lazy amymore. This is like his 4th project in the past 4 years.
No doubt. I never fully got the lazy thing. I think he might even have more music than 50 has. He never cared about being a huge star but he’s always been fairly consistent releasing music. His mixtapes the past decade plus have all basically been albums too. Original production with hooks and song structure, etc

Sales are one thing but as of now he's surpassed him. Banks always had hooks and stuff too, he just doesn't try to reach the mainstream crowd. He's in his Nas Kings Disease phase churning out projects each year.

Lazy was always in regards of him not doing what he needs to do to promote himself.

Banks put out 5 mixtapes in a year before, he loves the easy part in making music just not the spotlight

Banks loves when producers rehash that deep piano sound from that Styles P record off HFM2

He spittin on this tho.. glad he bringin punchlines out again. He shifted more to introspection and wordplay but you the PLK bro, you gotta keep givin punchlines

I think I like this more than the last 2 COTI joints for sure.

Still just a little frustrated that he doesn't get better production. Lyrically he's such a monster. The production is just kind if generic. Not bad at all. But just doesn't have as much personality as it could.

It feels stupid for me to even say it, because it's not a fresh take. But yeah. I love everything Banks is doing, I just wish he could link up with some other producers.
