Make no mistake, HH2 is BETTER than LIU tho. You guys have new tape syndrome. Every time Banks drops a new tape you have dudes say the same bullsh*t because they are bored with hip hop and have nobody to listen to. Banks drops a new tape and you have people saying: "oh I never listen to Banks like that but this is fire", "this is the best release all year", "this is the best tape banks have ever released", etc. nikkas stay doing that bullsh*t. You have dudes talking about the beats of LIU. Who the fukk listens to Lloyd Banks for the beats? Brazy.

Banks was on another level with his rhymes on HH2.. Plus HH2 had Mind over Matter. :scust:
I said it when it dropped, for me HH2 didn't feel like a great project. It's got good songs but I wouldn't put it in the CC2/FNO/LIU etc category

LIU is a new tape but I haven't played a Banks tape as much since CC2. It's flawless. Hooks are better, beats are better, the whole concept of the tape is better. The intro and outro alone is better than HH2

Got love for Bombaye but for some reason the Banks ish always sounds poorly mixed.
I would love to see vids of Banks working on his mixtapes.. he sounds like he records with the same setup my homies use except theirs is mixed better and Banks is a multimillionaire artist that made it

He sounds good when its group projects or features because someone else handles the mixing

Banks tapes don't need to be mastered to at least sound a little better.. Bombaye needs to work on that a little

a lot of new names on the producer list so I wonder if Banks is gonna go with a different sound:patrice:

I notice Doe Pesci isnt on there and he's always on Banks tapes, shyt he's the one who leaked the info about the tape early in the first place:mjlol: Banks prolly got mad and gave him the :camby:

Nah Doe ain't going nowhere lol

Feed Then Strip or Price of Life is tough but Pledge of Allegence shyts on Monument beat wise. I see he was going for that halloween theme but that beats a little annoying to hear everytime but lyrically its dope
