I don't know, there was never any relationship or personal issues between LL and Jay-Z.

I do think LL was and is still hurt about the fact that he was never asked to head up Def Jam. He's always said he doesn't belong behind a desk, but I think him not even bein asked when he technically built that company, hurt him.

It would be straight up rap beef and thats what would've made it so dope because whilst there were some personal things here and there it would've been mainly about the skills and you know L lives for this as it always reinvigorates him when he's in static. The Nas thing was all quite emotional, brief and intense but this would've been surgical between them when it came to pushing the pen and the flips back and forth would've been next level to my thinking.

Forget what LL said Nas put on a huge concert where not only he performed but many other artists specifically to commemorate 50 years of Hip Hop. Jay didn't the end.
And everyone should just do them and not worry about what naysayers are saying.

Guys like Jay Z, Will Smith, Ice T, Queen Latifah(though she did show up for a set), Marky Mark, Romany Malco are making entirely too much money outside of hip hop. If they don't want to hit the stage anymore, they should not be obligated to.
