smh at people saying discussion on the coli has made them more conservative/liberal. it's like critical thinking skills don't exist anymore when it comes to politics. it's not always black or white and both major parties have flaws in their platforms and representatives. do your own research and make your minds up for yourselves. a lot of the stuff posted here is taken to extremes and usually void of context.

I've seen lots of compelling evidence to suggest there is no negative affect to nominal increases. Which leads naturally to the question, at what point is there an effect? 15/hr 20/hr 50/hr 100/hr? No one seems concerned about the breaking point, they just know 100/hr is ridiculous and 15/hr seems reasonable. Its all pretty lazy IMHO, and i dont trust it.

This particular study took place during the now expired Bush tax cuts which created a more friendly business environment then what we have now and will have in the coming years, so your right, it doesnt change my position. :manny:

No. Its true...:what:

The numbers say so.

It may be true, but it doesn't really mean anything without looking deeper. Its way too simple to try and connect some general ideology to those characteristics, whether it be positive or negative, conservative or progressive.
