I have little faith in this hearing and the people they chose to bring to the hearing.

Some good writers, celebs but no hardcore economists like Darrity, who could tie in the effects of racism to black Americans current economic situation.

Even if nothing happens after this hearing we will keep pushing and make sure the right people are at the next hearing.

Darity submitted a written statement that will be submitted to the congressional record and Dr. Julianne Malveaux, Economist and Political Commentator, will be speaking as well

How did you feel about Coates speech? I think He was solid with the time he had.

-"the concept of reparations does not include payments to individuals "

here we go with this shyt. :scust:

-this cac johnson from Lousiana already trotting out all the standard bullshyt. "nobody currently was responsible"..."alot of immigrants weren't responsible"..."only a small group owned slaves".

-Sheila Jackson Lee is atleast on point about making sure this is only about ADOS. So glad she made that clear.

Here we go :snoop: You're not gonna believe this, but Dr. Darity being absent today isn't going to change the fight we still have tomorrow.

I want to be more interested in this but since it's unlikely to happen I tune it out a bit.

That said, I love a great debate/discussion, so I'll try to watch this hearing back
