I'm starting to believe that Rich Eisen stimulus got him drafted

Nobody was talking about him until Rich Eisen did some crazy glazing at the combine and afterwards...even had scouts and analysts admitting they didn't know anything about him and had to go back to his tapes.

About a couple of weeks after that he's getting mocked late 1st, early 2nd round. Once he was a guest on the show I knew he was getting drafted.

Will Howard about the same size as Shough, with better accuracy and a chip...and yet Shough went before him.

This is the disconnect. Every notable media member is :mindblown: at the developments.

Every media person feels terrible for him because Shedeur is HIGHLY trained in how to properly deal with the media because of who Pops is. All of them describe him as cordial, engaging, and a great interview. They love him. Being great with the media doesn't win you games. That shyt means nothing when coaches watch game tape.

What game tape shows is despite what he does do well, he does have obvious limits. Most of his weaknesses can be coached around or coached out of him... if he comes off as willing to accept the coaching. Perhaps that's not what they took from their interviews with him. I.E. "Your talent/story doesn't warrant the specific kind of confidence you have."

Dillon Gabriel going ahead of Shedeur is fukking egregious though. To me, Shedeur should have gone late first, early second just on "market value" alone. I guess even the NFL has its limits on how much it will cock-jockey a QB.
