For comparison, Universal made Trolls World Tour available for 48 hours only at a price of $20.

They made 100 million dollars in 3 weeks time. The first Trolls made 158 million dollars after 5 months in theater.

Disney has obviously been calculating based on all the additional marketing costs they already spent, and while I think the price is insane, a Blu-Ray would also cost you around 30 bucks.

So all in all I personally wouldn't buy it but I don't think it's that crazy if you want to see the film ASAP, especially if you are a family with two (or more kids).

A 4k maybe.
