Can anyone confirm if you can accelerate/brake with X/square? That's he only way I'll even consider tryin' this joint. I ain't tryna race with no trigger buttons
They let you chose.
You can use X or R2. O is brake. R1 is drift.
Eh, I prefer to be able to drift with the accelerate button like NFS and Burnout, but I'll try it out for the hell of it. Props breh.

I been playing LBP 1 & 2 lately with her alot. Was hyped when I found out about this because she loves racers and LBP... match made in heaven
But like LBP, the potential far outweights the end result. You even got nikkaz in this thread talkin about "Did they copy Mario Kart Levels yet"

We know, you love any and everything LBP. Thats why after a week, you didn't have nobody playing the game with you anymore (its true, its damn true)

This game is not a good racer at all, it doesn't rank amongst the elite racing games out there. It sucks compared to Mario Kart Wii so it sucks.
Is it decent compared to nothing or Mod Nation Racers? Sure, but the gaming world is much larger than what is on the ps3

Nah, I wasn't even really checking for this game before trying the beta.
I've played it a few times nothing too serious with my lady and it's a fun game IMO. Nothing shytty about it. And knowing how well LBP gets support from it's community it's easy to see that this game is going to be pretty good. And unlike the criticism of the LBP platforming games and it's controls, this game is rock solid in that department.
I honestly think this game will do well. And with the 8 player races and the nature of the gameplay, people will enjoy the game.
And Court were you playing splitscreen with your youngin'?

Can you even do that? I was letting her play, then I took a few turns.
After about 15min, we both decided to play something else.
I'll admit, I didn't put i a whole bunch of time with it.. it could get better.
But what I played and watched was boring. The tracks were uninspiring imo
It turned me off, and it seemed to me that the developers are banking on the community to carry this title
We all know the community makes very cool looking piles of shyt.
If this was on PC, then it would end up being epic. But on PS3? I doubt it.
The only game like this that benefits from the community is Forza
