Golovkin: Amir Khan Would Not Be Easy For Me

WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin disagrees with a lot of the critics. He says former champion Amir Khan (28-3, 19KOs) would not be an easy fight.

There are ongoing discussions to finalize an opponent for GGG's scheduled return, on Feb 1st in Monte Carlo, Monaco. HBO would carry the fight.

Khan is a dark horse opponent, but due to the multiple beatings he applied to Manny Pacquiao and Andre Ward in sparring, word is he's game to challenge Golovkin for the WBA/IBO Middleweight crown. Most critics view Khan as an easy opponent for GGG, but Golovkin thinks the fight would be difficult for both boxers.

"Amir Khan and I is a great fight for everybody. Amir Khan is a good boxer with great speed. It is not an easy fight for him or for me. It is great business [it is a marketable fight]. Im number one at Middlweight. Amir Khan has a lot of fans. He is a good boy. This is a great fight for boxing, for sport, for business. I like fight. It's a very interesting to me too," Golovkin said.

Man Danny only got the KO on Amir Khan because Amir was simultaneously fighting and knocking out Lennox Lewis while under an advanced illusion that made him look like Hasim Rahman. Not only does Amir have the power to KO
heavyweights but he can travel through time and cast illusion breh's! He is still only a man though
