I was actually just listening to this album 3 days ago...for some reason i got this real heavy Wu vibe so i went like 3 days playing pure classic Wu

I missed the Wu wave during the 90s because i was so deep into the Cali shyt...i still caught the singles...and fukked with it...but never got into Wu heavy until high school...99..00 ish when i clicked up with my these next cats (who are my brothers to this day) and they were HEAVY Wu heads and just east coast cats in general

They put me up on all those classic Wu solos and 36 chambers...gravediggaz...even put me up on Big Puns first album too (great fukkin album)

It was great timing too cuz by then my musical tastes had matured and i could appreciate the east coast shyt that i couldnt when i was just getting into hip hop...plus by then i was hungry for new sounds and styles

Liquid Swords is a fukkin phenomenal album...and while i still prefer Cuban Links (ever so slightly)...those two are the only Wu albums that I LOVE

Respect to Tical...Iron man...Supreme Clientele...36 Chambers...all dope..no question they are classics but while i enjoy those albums...they didnt capture me the way Cuban Links and Liquid Swords did

Whole album was short and sweet..banged all the way through

Cold World is my fav song on the album but i also love:

4th Chamber
Shadow Boxing
Investigative Reports
Killah Hill
I Gotcha Back
BIBLE

that was a great video

but man that double package shadowboxing'/4th chamber was amazing

Damn right, I saw that one afterwards (don't know which one came first, I was in Central African Republic at the time) and was already a stan at that time :feedme:
A young breh was going insane with that first batch of Wu albums:wow:

Classic album and my favorite album of all time:blessed:

Impeccable lyricism and amazing production; a lot of RZA's best work is on here

My favorite track... it used to be Duel of the Iron Mic but now I have to go either Shadowboxin' or Cold World

Shadowboxin' is such a fun track to rap along to and GZA and Deck's storytelling on Cold World has always been awesome, not to mention the instrumental

PJ's to the Burbs
This joint was so banging I had a promotional CD that i dubbed onto tape and on its release date I bought the tape just so i could enjoy the clarity

Picture bloodbaths and elevator shafts
Like these murderous rhymes tight from genuine craft
Check the print, it's where veterans spark the letterings
Slow moving mc's is waitin for the editin
