Not even in 2015. Wu have a bunch of black fans. Every Wu related shows I personally went to had a good amount of black fans. I know that most of their shows are have a predominantly white audience but that's the case for ALL big hip hop acts that's been around for years. This is one of their shows from around 93:

Bunch of Blacks and Hispanics rocking to the Wu, including a bunch of females who knew their sh!t word for word. And this was basically most of their audience for most of their shows up until like 96-97. Matter of fact one of the major reasons Wu-tang dropped out of their major Rage Against the Machine tour in 97 was because most of the members didn't wanna perform for a bunch of white rock and roll heads, they wanted to perform for the hood n!ggas. These are facts.

Bottom line...it's not 2003 no more. It looks corny when somebody says some corny sh!t like only whites and asians are Wu-tang fans.

let me just give me my reasoning in more detail to you so we don't have to keep trotting over the same stuff when it should be about GZA's classic.
(and only worthwhile album to me).

like i said in 2015 i expect most of their rabid fans to be of a certain type.

why ? because i assume most of them on forums etc never grew up on them (like myself) so now with everything so accessible you can have all of their albums at the touch of a button you can delve in...everybody when they discover Wu go through their little stan phase.

am i saying they have no black fans in 2015 ? no, am i saying they never had fans from the hood and all that jargon ? no, you'd be dumb to not expect them to...but like i've stated.. i expect the majority of them on the internet in "2015" to be the type i named....is it ignorant ? yeah, but thats a lot of them i've came across when it comes to the internet...i don't really care what race people are, it says a lot about them that their music is still being heralded and discovered 20 odd years later.

i understand if your black and been a fan as long as you can remember it would be annoying of people makes jokes about your favorites saying only whites and asians listen to them etc and maybe thats why you brought it up in this thread in the first place.

most of their fans from the hood back then i don't expect to be on talking about the feverishly on the internet today...maybe say a year you brought up in 2003 but not now.
i expect them to go to the shows etc like you said.

What don't I get? Here's what you posted:

Didn't y'all see the article where GZA said RZA wasn't feeling it, but GZA was trying to put on his man?

You still haven't posted anything that shows that RZA thought the song was wack. RZA thinking that BIBLE doesn't fit in with the theme of Liquid Swords does not equate to him not liking the song.

It's OK, simpleton. I'm already bored of this exchange.

Love this album w/ all my heart.

This song in particular, just hits so deep.

:wow:

one of my all-time songs. INCREDIBLE beat, and just some ILLLL lines. That 2nd verse.... "we was both on the same ship when the slaves got checked.... so I had to escape, find a thin line between love and hate..."
