They will be selling action figures, happy meals, and videogames to go along with the movie.But will they market it to kids? I feel they will try to of course get the kids to come but to also "advance" the Power Rangers so that we can be like "Ooooh their new suits are shiny! I gotta see it" and go the Transformers route of going for the action hungry audience.
It may indeed do numbers, I just think their banking too much on a nostalgia audience that won't be there. Power Rangers has been doing reunions and specials the past few years and none of the nostalgia audience cares. I think they're just setting themselves up for a failure thinking a movie will do numbers.
