I think Taylor realized that as long as we can get Nicole K. , Mike Kelly and Morgan Freeman in a room in DC planning out or hotwashing a mission with Zoe running it from the field, thats all they really need as a base. Mix in Zoe's home life and Cruz's love life but I don't think they can go "monster" of the week though. They are still going to need a overall mission/goal for the season but do they need to insert a "Lioness'" undercover, probably not.

I think they also used this particular season to show and realize that everybody ain't built for being able to go undercover.

Whether you liked the season or not, the outcome was very good.

Excellent finale. That shootout scene was :ohlawd:

I thought for sure the pilot was gonna die this episode once she injured her leg and was a sitting duck out in the field. Most of the team took some bullets in that shootout scene but they all survived :leon: Joe definitely has PTSD :heh:

Crazy that Nicole Kidman and the that politician from DC went from the comfort of DC to meet up with cartel ppl :damn:

Before I started watching S2 I NEVER expected S2 to be this good :banderas:

Good finale. The new Lionness was useless this season though. They didn’t need her set up the cameras in the house and she didn’t convince her pops to do anything. I guess it’s an example of how things/people just don’t work out sometimes but it seemed like a waste of time.

True. Cruz was a perfect candidate because what she experienced before joining the military. Broken home, literally was inches away from her potential death.

The last episode was good but possibly the weakest of the season

I get that it's a strong woman show but they almost went overboard with the cac male captain earlier in the episode. Zoe telling him have my coffee ready while the other two tough bytches stare him down I'm like aight:mjlol:

That firefight was:dead: Even the Avengers have casualties:mjlol:

Aside from that a good end to a great season:wow:

shyt shouldn't even be called Lioness anymore since it seems like the new goal is to recruit latin lesbians to do whatever the fukk pops up. We went from sending someone undercover to investigate the cartel that kidnapped a congresswoman and killed her family to a shootout in Iran:gucci:
