Big part of it is tv shows kinda replaced the mid range budget R rated/mature movies. If you did Lioness in the 90s it woulda been a 30-50 million dollar 2 hr movie with maybe a little more sex/erotica in it.

This is a pretty good full court press, Julianna Margulies did something similar on The Morning Show but she just kept asking questions until she got what she wanted, since there is no man involved their wont be any thinkpieces in either arm twisting situation
