HHH downside guarantee is public and that’s $1 million. I can definitely see his NXT downside guarantee being sub 100k. Lio was brought up to the main roster in September but I can also definitely see them being slow to convert his deal over. With bonuses I can see him being at 80-90k but that’s damn near broke if you’re getting hotels and rentals every single week to travel

NXT downsides nowadays are between 50 and 80K and you have to be a star on the independent/international scene to get 100K and above. NXT downsides used to be 30K.

I could see if you're cool w someone on some friend getting them a water but doing that and carrying bags for that maga infested :mjpls: pos locker room nah fukk that.
Handing him a bottle of water and saying good match sounds super racist. :stopitslime:

Well he cares his white wife bags . Now all of sudden he is civil rights leader? Next thing you know Alicia Fox is going to be Harriet Tubman and Martin Luther King combined according to this forum.

Hosting SiriusXM’s Busted Open today, The World’s Strongest Man had nothing but contempt for Rush and said the WWE rookie even lied to his face about a few issues.

“The reason that I’m angry is because I pull him aside and told him ‘Hey man I’m hearing stuff in the locker room, what’s up?’ (Rush’s voice) ‘Oh no, there’s nothing wrong.’ That’s a blatant lie to my face! I was trying to help him. I was trying to let him know that if you have a question to ask, now is the time because you’re very likely not going to run into anyone that knows the system like I know the system. And he didn’t do that. He lied to my face.

And if you’re walking around and cannot pay for a rental car, you can’t pay for a hotel with the money that you make every week? Then you need to change the way you are spending. You can’t blame that on the office. If you spent everything you made before you got it, that’s your problem.”

Henry continued:

“What Lio is doing is nothing different than what I did. He’s getting off very easy cause in my day they would have said ‘Hey Lio, Bobby should never drive. You should take his bags to the car. When he comes back from his match you should have a bottle of water for him when he walks through the curtain’.”

The idea of someone on the biggest wrestling stage not only making, but being OFFERED, less money than I make to basically fukk around on here all day (with a little bit of actual work in between) is just baffling to me. Not even bragging because it's not that much less, but then you add in the wear and tear on your body, no benefits, and traveling around the country on your own dime, and it's just insane.

Truth. Makes me think they want some of their 'stars' to rack up debt or just live month to month - keep them in line on some, 'Can I have some push?' :feedme:

In a previous interview with Fightful, Lio claimed he was “Walking around broke in the biggest sports entertainment industry that there is”.

However, PWInsider is reporting WWE made the self proclaimed “Man Of The Hour” a insane 5 year deal with the company. Rush rejected, instead asking for double the amount. The offer was said to be in the range of 300,000 per year.

Lio Rush apparently also told the company to release him so he can show them what he is capable of outside the WWE.

“WE ARE TOLD THAT RUSH HAS, AT ON AT LEAST ONE OCCASION, INSTEAD SUGGESTED THE COMPANY RELEASE HIM SO HE CAN “SHOW THEM” WHAT HE COULD ACCOMPLISH OUTSIDE OF WWE.”

On some real shyt, its really unsettling seeing the industry almost entirely push against black wrestlers standing up for themselves.

It feels like this wrestling shyt really isn't for us.
Nothing was ever made for us, which is why they fought to keep sports segregated for so long. It really burns them to see black wrestlers with effortless charisma and skill excel at something they work so hard to be average at.

Wasn't there a story a few years back where it was said that the WWE has a preferred realator they refer the wrestlers to that get them locked into these ridiculous ass house payments that leave then stuck?

Lio is instant babyface status for standing up to that dumbass fukking rookie young boy culture. And the vets who defend it are exemplifying Stockholm syndrome. Maybe encourage a better lockerroom going forward, rather than thinking new guys should do some bullshyt just because you had to?

I'm telling you, anyone who shyts on Hall and Nash for how they handled their business at this point is either young or really naive to the world. There is no loyalty and life isn't fair. Get paid and don't feel bad about it.

knocking on a guy who has confidence, knows his worth and doesn't put up with shyt? I'll never understand it. These "happy to be here" types are the ones that are poisonous to the industry. McMahon loves those guys.

From the capitalism on steroids business practices, to the high school mentality from a lockerroom full of grown ass men who call themselves "the boys", man what a fukked up industry.

Hall said it best "You can either have friends or you can make money, I already have friends now I want the money".:wow:

You also have to pay taxes in every city you travel to due to entertainment tax. Their take-home is a lot smaller than people think.
