I love the lightweights, don't get me wrong. But if I had to choose a bout for the top prize of a company. I will always enjoy watching two hoss go at it, Steiner/Goldberg style.

Come to think of it I usually like when the low and mid card is filled with high flying, but the top prize I have and always will prefer bigs. Don't matter what year to understand why.

I know people try to shyt on here but Austin Aries was great as TNA champ and he was about the smallest in any company in recent years

His finisher was the Brainbuster and he could do that on anyone from Peter Williams to Bully Ray fat ass

Loved both Aries runs in Impact actually. He wrestled stiff, and had a serious intense character, was a cunning heel. With certain people it absolutely works.

I also love the babyface Cinderella story where once in a while the little dude can actually pull off a big win against the big dude and win the belt. That's great storytelling to me.

Like that kind of story for Lio would be cool, depending on who the belt holder is at the time. But I don't really wanna see the world belt being held by primarily smaller dudes, it kind of kills the vibe of suspending my disbelief to watch it sometimes. He would have to go out there and beat dudes that are almost always gonna be bigger than him in defences, so I will have the face lots of times, even if the in ring work is top notch.. That's all.

AEW has a lot of talented black wrestlers like Ricky Starks, Rush, Dante Martin, Hobbs, Sonny Kiss (get past the flamboyant gay stuff, dude is really talented in the ring) etc that they can really go far.
