Nobody is saying WWE have cool fans, the point is that the most toxic cringy neckbeard segment of the pro wrestling audience not only overwhelmingly prefers one company, that company caters to them and actively vies for their affection.
It wouldn't be a WWE/AEW thing if AEW didn't cozy up to the neckbeards. WWE has plenty of incel weirdo fans too, but they seemingly don't make booking directions anymore based on what will pop the neckbeard segment of the fanbase. They tried with the super-indy phase of NXT but that is in the rear view now.

I think AEW is smart to market directly to the die hard neckbeard segment of the crowd. that's literally what differentiates them from WWE and makes them a true alternative.
booking for the casuals in an attempt to mirror WWE is where TNA went wrong. AEW isn't gonna make that same mistake. They know who got them here, and they're gonna feed them. WWE has tricked muhfukkas into believing making decisions based in pleasing your paying customer is a bad thing
