I'm not trying to be a contrarian, I'm pointing out that you guys are not grasping what's actually being said here. One piece of evidence is your suggestion that Yachty is somehow defending the "nikkas wit a gun".

Yachty knows his friend and the trajectory that he was on, no desire to work and he basically saved him from himself. Had Yachty never entered his life, it would be markedly different and likely for the worst.
