As someone who has actually been arrested on felony charges and questioned on felony charges with no lawyer present I can tell you that even doing this in any situation while you are in custody is stupid and could only hurt you.

The wise thing to do when questioned and in custody is to observe your RIGHT to remain SILENT, not this dumb shyt you see Dwayne Carter doing...

I basically agree with you, just want to point out that I don't think the right to remain silent applies in a deposition. He filed suit, so he's obligated to go through with the deposition, it's a part of the process.
