Wrong. Again the original released version had no DJ. It was 28 tracks of the songs Wayne gave to Drama but Drama was taking too long to release it.

So Wayne put it up on the YM website for download (I still got it). If I’m not mistaken it was youngmoney.net. He’d post videos and stuff all the time.

I just posted that other link to show the full tracklist. It’s waaaaaaay better than the Drama version because he changed alot of the beats and edited out verses.

This is another song from it where Curren$y was rapping over the “Breathe” beat.

This was the music video for “Dis Is How W Do It” that was on the homepage of the YM website back then.

One of my favorite mixtapes of all times and I was amazed that alotta people now don’t know it exists.

You're wrong. I was alive.

Drama was taking too long to release D1 so Wayne just realeased the double disc DJ-less version for download on the Young Money website like 4 months before the revised Drama version was released.

Here is the playlist on YouTube

This was the version I originally heard so it was always the real version to me.

You remember the video on that site that was a Mack and Currensy freestyle like click click bang or something?

Leave cum stains all on her tongue rang
Pull up to the gun range in a plum range

Some shyt like that. College memories for me.

You're wrong. I was alive.

:stopitslime:Mane I posted the Youtube links of the original Dedication 1. I was in college and we listened to it the whole ride back to school from winter break along with Game’s The Documentary. I still have the mp3’s.

Matter of fact I just looked and even Wikipedia has a write up about the OG version.

Young Money: The Mixtape

In February 2005, prior to the release of The Dedication, Wayne and his group, Young Money released a mixtape, Young Money: The Mixtape.[3] It was a double disc tape and featured every song on The Dedication (besides "Please Say The Baby") without DJ Drama and in their original form. When DJ Drama re-released it as "The Dedication", he added his tags and cut out the other members of Young Money. He also mashed up some of the songs with different instrumentals:

  • Motivation (Mashup of Young Money's freestyle over "No Problems" and T.I.'s "Motivation")
  • Like Dat (Mashup of Young Money's freestyle over "New York" and Stat Quo's "Like Dat")
  • Nah This Ain't The Remix (Mashup of Lil Wayne's freestyle over "Drop it like it's Hot" and Snoop Dogg's "Drop it like it's Hot [Remix]")
  • Much More (Mashup of Young Money's freestyle over "Lean Back" and Fat Joe's "Much More")
  • D-Boyz (Mashup of Young Money's freestyle over "Smoke, Drank" and Rich Boy's "D-Boyz")
  • Stilettoes (Mashup of Young Money's freestyle over "Knuck if you Buck" and Crime Mob's "Stilettos")

Yep! And they had a video where Wayne was talking to Curren$y about how he got the name Tunechi and how much he was scared of this Mahalia Jackson commercial on TV as a kid😂.

No lie I was scared of this commercial as a kid too😂😂😂😂

They also had a video where Currensy was singing the Growing Pains theme song😂😂😂😂.

I was listening to some tracks the other night. That Wayne - Ho Story Skit was a classic, me and my brother used to die laughing. “SHE GOTTA WEIGH 250 POUNDS, ALL FINENESS” 😂

Now I’m realizing him and Mack Maine was running a train :what:
