He's incredibly influential yes. Arguably the father of most the hot mainstream rappers right now but ask yourself is the revere people have for him anywhere near the level of revere people had for Jay post rap retirement from 05-09? Getting a Wayne feature or nod should be HUGE to artists like Lil Baby, Uzi, etc. But he's very downplayed as it stands.
