Actually insane how completely irrelevant Wayne is both musically and especially culturally these past 10 years.

He's arguably the most influential rapper since Pac and was maybe the biggest artist for a good stretch but no one is checking for this nikka at all now.

That minstrel act he ran with while fathered many a style, ultimately turned out to be a double edged sword.
I mean....can we really call a rapper who's still getting tons of features left and right from major artists and dropped a mid album in 2020 that went number 1 "irrelevant?"

To me, irrelevant is more so Nelly/50 Cent/Ludacris status where there's flat out no real demand for them musically outside of being legacy acts. Wayne isn't hot as he used to be but he'll still be in popular demand and C6 will definitely have a lot of buzz since even casuals love to check for the Carter series.

This is how I feel now, I am burnt out on Wayne, if buddy even has features, combos with older rappers, such as The Game, Ross etc, it's like Breh, we've seen this combo before, it's like, how many times that you can make a song with these rappers. Y'all not creating nothing magical or memorable, Even if he features the new rappers that are out, it's like again, Breh you're going to destroy these new rappers on the song and many of times, the new rappers and Wayne don't have chemistry nor make memorable songs when it comes to them being on His own songs.

Nobody really wants to hear a 16 track album of Wayne as well, water down at that since it's an album, if it was a mixtape, at least he would have range to just flow but since it's an album, there will be structure, single type songs and I don't think Wayne can really make a memorable song in 2022 without sampling.

The only way this would work is he has 2 prodcuers as a breh stated, Mannie or whoever, more eyes would be on the project.

Wayne is in that space where he's burnt out, a Jay-Z feature will help, maybe a Beyonce, but I don't see it being anything memorable.

Dude has worked with everyone, I, myself don't want to see any more collabs

completely irrelevant?

Nah.

He's still getting features and respect from his peers

music wise, funeral album did good #s for an album with 0 promotion (and not a carter album).

He's fine

Album series without any type of theme like BP and Carter are just marketing tools, might as well just call it lil wayne's 14th album,
funny enough, waynes NON carter albums (outside of c1) have the actual themes

Rebirth
LFLS
IANAHB

Carter is basically the most polished material he has
