Outside of him being in jail, you can follow his progression as an artist.
This was a Young Money tape technically but he showed out throughout. So when Drought 3 dropped like 5 months later it was like wtf. 2 CDs wtf.




oh no doubt i remember when this dropped, this was '07 and it had nothing but heat on it. i got a bunch of tracks off this mixtape on my ipod playlist right now...

anyway wasn't too long after this that the carter 3 leaks dropped with i feel like dying and welcome to the zoo so i was eating good that year man


EDIT: i wanna say new orleans nightmare dropped that same year too and that was crack. tune was unreal

I was about to post Zoo and i feel like dying thats crazy. New orleans Nightmare 7 is up top on my list. This dude is unreal. Its literally unreal how good he is at what he does.

Nobody give that dude his credit like they should. This dude changed the way an entire generation consumed music and at what pace.

Abd he could die today. And i never seen him perform. So hopefully these young dudes out here can see how their favorite artists whole personna was influenced by one of dudes cadences.
