I’ve reached the age where I can’t separate trash from good music but I read on the internet, try to have an open mind and shyt and often I get it. Some old heads would put Uzi, Carti and lil pump on the same level. Or Durk, Von and 6ix9. Cause they only understand the music from a macro perspective. But ask the 20 something cats and they’ll show you why the difference is like comparing Silk and Pac.

So all I can say to the old heads is be very open minded or don’t listen to new shyt at all. We starting to sound like our parents did as regards hiphop in general.

But I’ll agree that 2023 has been a supremely weak year until Gunna/Killer Mike and now possibly this
