The point I was trying to make is that if Uzi were not already signed to Wiz what would be the point of UZi signing to him now? It'd be like 21 savage signing to Rick Ross. Last year, when Uzi wasn't really known, yes of course he should sign to Wiz (which is apparently what happened)

This is just a strategic marketing move since Taylor Gang is on Atlantic.
He wasn't a nobody, he was already working with Drama and Cannon. He started buzzing off his first project, The Real Uzi, because of the Drama and Cannon co-sign
Edit: I'm pretty sure WDYW was already out before Luv is Rage too, and that song put him on another level
