Doing your thing and taking over blocks is two different things...I moved to the Eastside in '95 as a shorty from Florida and it was all love... I did my lil dirt, had my little rebelious phase and tried to turn up a little...But them n!ggas ain't playin and they definately arent gonna let some out of town n!ggas take over no high traffic traps...New Orleans, New York, Miami.. It wouldn't matter...

My formative years were on Glenwood..I went to SW Dekalb and Columbia..Got folks on Flat Shoals, Candler, Rainbow, Bouldercrest, Memorial and everywhere on the East..My little brother is in the Crest right this moment runnin with a bunch of killers...My cousin is in Dekalb gettin held on a bank robbery...After Katrina I had 20 New Orleans n!ggas stayin in my home...Fed them, gave them food, clothes, toiletries and the whole nine just out of respect...The last physical confrontation I had in my adult life was in a situation involved with that circle...

There was never no take over.. That's all propoganda my brother...I guess people felt that just because n!ggas wasnt tryin to kill them on sight that it was because they were intimidated..Naw n!ggas just aren't pressed because they are gettin money and dont feel the need to be greedy..

It just bothers me when I see a community take in some refugees, show them love, give them some help on some Black unity sh1t without the help of the government (I remember how long those FEMA checks took) and then n!ggas turn around on some "yall n!ggas aint sh1t we gonna tell everyone that we gorilla your hood"..When it don't even have to be like that.. I got plenty of Houston n!ggas that tell me their experiences and feel the same way..

Instead of being mad at Atlanta or Texas n1ggas.. Go back to N.O. and get mad at them crackers that flooded your mamas house and blew up them levies...

We don't see eye to eye on much, but this post right here deserves respect. You know how ATL really gets down... and how black folks should try to be. :myman:

Reese is just pathetic. She didn't swing first, so there is no excuse for his behavior. I'm all about separating the man from his art/music, but it's gonna be hard to listen to his mixtape again...:snoop:

nikkas move to ATL n take over blocks fukk this lil nikka he just making himself food trying get a name

and this nikka from KIRKWOOD :laff:

I visited family in 4th Ward shortly after Katrina & they were literally screening for Louisiana tags.

They might be able to strong arm wannabe suburban hoods but that takeover shyt was not happening in Atlanta city limits.

:whoa:
Those ppl werent refugees. They would have to be foreign ppl from another nation to be refugees. Dont let how the white media handled things keep shyt twisted.

But yea you right about the ungratefulness they displayed I guess it happened everywhere. When they came to Dallas I kinda lost respect for N.O. dudes at the time. And I was in HS then so my attitude went from philanthropist to :childplease: real fast after I saw how they wanted to play it.

I dont judge it no more like I used to though, cause the fact is they didnt know what I went through and I for damn sho didnt know what they went through
