When I was growing up, I learned to never EXPECT anything from people. People are too unpredictable for me to just ASSUME that they're going to act civil in a heightened situation.

How are you applying logical thought to an escalated situation involving people you don't know? You're never taught HOW to fight women & men individually. There's no gender protocol to eliminating a threat. When people snap, they go until they run out of steam or they feel that the situation's handled.
