there was nothing said in the video about no living situation :mjlol: he showed about 10 mil worth of jewelry. at this point, it would have to be a hater delusion to think he can't afford a house if he wanted to

but anyway, DAMN THAT'S A BIG ASS CHAIN!
and his skin is immaculate too :ehh:

finally, he mentioned a black owned jeweler for several of his pieces.. for the race bait crowd itt

Custom jewels is the same as cars breh. You can spend 50 grand on a car, but the car is no longer worth 50 grand. Jewels will only retain the trade in value, which tends to be low. Do not even get me started on bustdowns.

he mentioned that he has several watches that fall into a market where they only increase in value, aps... milles... and whatnot. and then he mentions some that have a sentimental or intrinsic value to HIM.. or that he plans on giving as a gift to his dad (if you plan on giving it away, what does it matter what the value is?). and a lot of pieces he has are gifts too.
plus you can also say that about a 15k car.... should we clown yall for buying yall 15k cars that will surely go down to 2k within a few years? or should we let you live since you living withing your means (like he seems to be) :jbhmm:

Its gotta be so weird for these 2nd generation kids like him. I had an older sibling who when I was young that had a lot of clout. NGL at times it was annoying AF being known as the little brother of someone for a time. But for me it made me really want to stand out and have my own name stamped.

I guess some people lean the other way and kind of morph their identity into their parent/sibling. Either way you can't complain cause I DEFEINLTY benefited off it...and nowhere near this kids level I can only imagine :wow:

idk shyt about iced out chains but i do know a thing or two about other kinds of jewelry and this gq on the rocks series is nonstop cap when it comes to rarity, prices, and/or sometimes whether a piece is real or not

Just cuz you a painter... Good art is a long term investment if you are LUCKY that's a big if. Honestly if they buying real jewelry at non inflated prices then it's easily a better value holder than art. Less of a gamble.
Naw not really. Take me for instance, Im already in year 2 and got art in a museum. Plus I sold to famous athletes too. Therefore if Lil Meech wouldve bought my art, he would already have invested in something that has growth potential.

Can you shoot a link to your art? I’m always looking for Black abstract artists and their work. Most I come across are always portraiture-style artists, which I don’t care for.

you growing your profile as an artist isn't the same as him growing his art profile as a collector. he would stand to gain more from your art long term, that appreciation it is showing right now is value to you. In your example he is like the museum. He doesn't gain by just purchasing from you he has to hold and hope it was worth it or just appreciate it for the art it is. There's no guarantees it goes up in value for him even if your price goes up. It's just not a good or reliable investment vehicle breh. you only looking at your perspective. Art dealers can gamble on holding pieces cuz they also will be the ones creating the narratives and exhibits to highlight and sell them. A private collector is going after those cuz they already are proven to have and hold value. they not gambling on finding new talents to harness.

Your example was that art has more value than buying jewels and that isn't true. as much as we make fun of rappers for their spending habits it's not accurate to say that you can draw more value from a painting than some jewels. especially jewel of quality have values not predicated on opinions. It would in fact be worse if rappers just started buying up painting and thinking they will amount to something, which was basically the NFT wave. you are talking purely perceived value vs materials with constant value. I get you want to promote your shyt brother but :comeon:
