Did Lauryn have help or not? She is no better than Kim if she did have help.
To my knowledge the only 'help' argument is that Lauryn on her album claims that all music was done by her, including the instrumentation. That last part didn't seem to be the case entirely. She def wrote her own rhymes on her solo album though, as she did on both Fugees albums. People in this thread seem to forget she was on those albums too, it's not just her solo album that should be taken into account.
Lauryn takes it over Lil Kim by a landslide.

And we know she's had ghostwriters but her greatest verse, the Quiet Storm remix verse, was hers. Havoc said they saw her write that verse in the studio.

Accusations is one thing, which comes with stigma of being female. Everybody KNOWS Kim had ghost writers. Hell Big wrote hooks, her verses, gave her a beat and every damn thing at times. Told her how to rap on it too.

My point is, dudes gotta realize that damn near every notable female MC has had ghostwriters.

It's one thing to occasionally have one and another to ALWAYS have one.
I listen to Quiet Storm remix almost every week.
We don't know how often she uses ghostwriters. Dudes always bring up ghostwriters with Kim but always mention other female rappers who have definitely used ghostwriters as well.
